They are by far not cheap, but you get what you pay for. I had been using the one on Broadway near Central Market and routinely I would end up missing clothing, the buttons would break or the price would not match what I was given. However after reading reviews on Yelp and asking a friend I decided to drop off some work dress shirts and I was impressed by the service and the price. Definitely worth it, especially if you have any designer clothing and want to ensure your items are not destroyed nor misplaced. They have extremely nice customer service and are always greeting me and others with a warm welcome. I genuinely recommend culpperd! I haven't shopped around much to know how much I should be paying for dry cleaning but I do like the efficiency and timeliness of Culpeppers. The ladies who run this cleaner are really sweet and friendly. I never have to wait in line and my clothes always come out fresh and clean.

You can request overnight service (without a charge) which is great, or you can let your clothes stay forever like I do. On my last visit I brought in 2 blazers and a coat and they were $26 total, which I thought was reasonable.

The building itself is really tidy and there is a tiny parking lot outside but it is never that busy. There are closer dry cleaners for me but I'll probably continue to use Culpeppers for all my dry cleaning needs. I was very excited to give this place a try based off the reviews. Unfortunately, I will not be returning. I've only taken my expensive work slacks here. They've been able to remove food (pizza) and shea butter stains. They weren't able to remove pen marks. The last two times I took my pants I noticed very obvious snags on both pants. One was all the way across the thigh and the thread was sticking out. And the top belt loop section was also snagged with thread sticking out. It's not really fixable which is very unfortunate because they were my new $70 pants :(

When I got home they looked worn/washed out and some areas looked completely faded. I'm going to try another location. They are close to my house so I gave them a try. I took five items in and it was $30. I was very surprised at the cost. No coupons or discounts that I could find online. All my shirts look wonderful, so no complaints there. Luckily I only dry clean a few items a month. I'll keep exploring options nearby. The only cleaners I use. Nervous about my name brands I did a Yelp review and discovered Culpepper Cleaners. I went to the NW Military Hwy location and had great service, the staff was friendly and well informed. The woman at the counter knew the fabrics I was brining in and the designers which made me feel more at ease in the care they would take with my clothing. My recommendation is to stick with your favorite $1.99 cleaner. At this place you are paying three times the price without any additional benefit. The people are pleasant but the price isn't justified. I am the third generation in our family business. I began my work at Culpepper Cleaners in 1978. I am a Certified Professional Dry Cleaner, Certified Environmental Dry Cleaner, Certified Professional Wet Cleaner, and Certified Garment Care Professional.
